We are going to feature other amazing moms on We are Mega Moms because, lets face it, we can learn a lot from how other moms successfully navigate through the joys and the challenges of everyday life.
This week we are featuring the fabulous: Christy Noelle Miller. The 3 words we would use to describe Christy would be confident, adventuresome and talented. She is such an inspiration to us because she has an infectious positive attitude about life and she takes on every challenge she faces with energy and enthusiasm. She is so accepting and never says a bad word about anyone. That is something that we admire about her.
Christy grew up dancing and was a BYU Cougarette as well as a Utah Jazz dancer. She was chosen to travel with the NBA as a dancer in China. She currently teaches dance and fitness classes and choreographs. She even choreographs music videos for the dress brand Sonnet James. She has 3 of the most adorable kids and she runs her own makeup business. Did we mention she’s gorgeous?
We asked Christy a few questions about being a mom and she gave us some awesome tips!
What is your favorite part of being a mom?
My favorite part of being a mom is going on adventures and exploring with my kids. I love being with them and seeing everything through their eyes. Their faces light up when they see some thing that they think is beautiful, awesome or cool. That is why I love traveling with them and experiencing new places with them.
What’s your favorite thing to do with your kids?
In the summer we love hiking. We love to do hikes we’ve never done before and hikes to waterfalls. Our favorite hike is Stewart Falls because it is really pretty and full of twists and turns so the scenery changes the whole time. There are also really huge furry caterpillars along the way. My kids love catching them with our bug catcher. My kids also love hiking to Secret Lake. It’s a really short one only 1.7 miles there and back. It’s a beautiful lake with salamanders, which they love to catch too.
What is your favorite beauty HAC for a busy mom?
I’d have to say a luminizer stick. When you are taking care of your kids and you look haggard and dull this product will fix that in one second flat. I like the cream to powder because it applies smooth but sets like a powder and doesn’t give you any cakey thickness and it won’t break out your skin. I also like the stick because you don’t need a brush. You can just throw it in your diaper bag or your purse and simply apply it on the go. Your face and your skin will be refreshed, glowing and pretty. It really is a diamond in the ruff and not enough moms know about this trick! It’s a game changer because it takes hardly anytime and makes a huge difference in your overall look.

How do you balance all of the things you have going on in your life?
I actually don’t believe in having complete balance. I don’t think that’s ever attainable but I do believe that you can switch around your priorities when necessary. Everyone has a bunch of “balls in the air” and sometimes one ball is heavier on one day and that’s your priority that day and then maybe the next day it switches and a different ball needs to be your priority. Every day is different and you need to juggle the chaos to keep all of your balls in the air. Its not about balance its about prioritizing your responsibilities on a daily basis.
